The tour begins in Toronto on August 22, with a week based at Muskoka Bible Centre (MBC) in the beautiful Muskoka region. Participants will visit nine unique camps, each showcasing different approaches to programming, hospitality, and camper experience. This promises inspiring visits, fresh ideas, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow leaders while traveling together by bus.

Beyond the camp visits, participants will enjoy iconic Canadian experiences, including a Blue Jays baseball game, dinner at the CN Tower, and a boat cruise on Lake Muskoka.

In the second week, on Saturday, August 29, the group will fly to British Columbia to visit eight exceptional camps around Vancouver, all set against the stunning backdrop of the West Coast. The tour concludes on September 4. You are free to plan your own extra travel or rest days before or after the trip.

Spouses are warmly invited to join and share in this unique experience.

Are you interested in gaining fresh perspectives and encouragement for your camp leadership?

Christian Camping NZ warmly invites you to join our directors’ tour to Canada, where we’ll visit a variety of camps and connect with fellow leaders. This is a great opportunity to explore new ideas and share your passion for Christian Camping.

This isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about the opportunity to see how others are doing things, share ideas, and reflect together on what might inspire you back home. You might pick up a few new ideas or simply enjoy the experience of stepping away and gaining fresh energy and insight.

The tour will include visits to at least 13 different camps, shared conversations, and enjoyable moments with peers who understand the challenges and joys of camp leadership. We’d love for you to come along, be part of this journey, and see where it might lead you and your camp.
