OUR VISION

To see our members thriving, operating with excellence, fulfilling their missions, and providing life transforming experiences and opportunities through their ministries.

OUR MISSION

To champion and equip members to achieve their purpose.

Christian Camping NZ aspires to be a highly effective and responsive provider of encouragement, training, resourcing, and advocacy in order to support a community of strong, sustainable, and mission focussed members.

Our Statement of Faith

We believe in:

(a) The Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

(b) The triune God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

(c) The deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His substitutionary atonement for sin, His bodily resurrection and His personal visible return to earth to reign in righteousness and glory.

(d) The person of the Holy Spirit and His work of conviction, regeneration and sanctification, who dwells in every believer equipping them with gifts for service and witness.

(e) The necessity of new birth, in salvation by faith in Jesus Christ alone and the importance of a life truly committed to the will of God in Christ.

(f) The church as one, universal body of Christ who is the Head, called to be God’s redeemed people.

OUR VALUES

Our values are driven by our statement of faith, and we are committed to courageously preserving them.

Faith

Our Christian beliefs shape our thoughts and actions.

Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds – James 2:18

Unity

We are bound together as part of God’s family and are committed to that family.

We, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others – Romans 12:5

Healthy relationships

Our interactions reflect integrity, respect, compassion, and transparency.

By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another – John 13:35

Collaboration

By sharing, we can all contribute to our collective success.

In humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others – Philippians 2:3,4

Excellence

We are committed to doing our best.

Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus – Colossians 3:17
