For over 25 years the Trust has worked alongside other community groups enhancing their programmes with their outdoor expertise. The Trust can provide stand alone programmes which are tailor-made to suit the individual needs of a particular group. Schools, church camps, day long to multi day expeditions can be organised. Activities can include sea, flat water and white water kayaking, rock climbing and abseiling, mountain biking, tramping, mountaineering, white water rafting (they are a Maritime NZ approved white water rafting operator), caving and ABL. Adventure Specialties Trust is a total logistics provider and can arrange transport, food, accommodation as well as activities and equipment.
Adventure Specialties Trust can provide New Zealand Outdoor Instructor Association (NZOIA) qualified instructors in rock climbing, abseiling, caving, bush, alpine, flat water and white water kayaking. They have staff that can provide pre-assessment training for NZOIA awards and Skills Active Unit Standards including the new Leader Awards. They can also provide Risk Management Workshops.
Adventure Specialties Trust also co-ordinates an annual networking conference of Christian outdoor leaders.
